General

 Are All Imago Photographers CRB Checked?

Yes, all our photographers have been CRB checked and are fully employed by us.

How Long Does Imago Keep My Images?

All images are stored on our server for 3 months after the shoot and then archived. If you require any images after this, a retrieval fee may be applicable.

Who Owns the Copyright on My Images?

Imago Portrait Studios Ltd retains the copyright on all photographs taken and supplied. Photographs may not be copied, published or reproduced in any form without the written permission of Imago Portrait Studios Ltd.

Website Problems

Will You Use My Child’s Images for Your Promotional Work?

We will only use your child’s images if you have agreed for us to do so. On your order form there is a check box for you to tick requesting us not to use your child’s images. Thank you to those who do allow us.

How Can I Work for Imago Studios?

We are always looking for new photographers with our ever-increasing business. Please send your CV to enquiries@imagostudios.net along with a covering letter.

What Clothes Would Work Best For The Shoot?

For studio shoots we work with a white studio backdrop, where bright/bold colours work best. We do NOT recommend white clothes or anything patterned as this tends to detract from the picture. Please do call us if you have any specific queries.

Proceeds

A percentage of all proceeds will go to your nursery (not to the parent company) so your children will see some benefit from each purchase. 

Can I Bring My Other Children To Be Photographed As Well?

All siblings are welcome to our photography shoot at the discretion of your nursery/school. Please call your nursery to enquire if this is possible and to book a time with them, if it is – we normally photograph siblings first thing in the day.

 

Viewing Your Images

 How Can I View My Images?

  • Digitally, please email us your email address, child’s name and nursery, entitle your email EMAIL IMAGES.  If you did not request this option prior to your shoot and would like to do so now, please email us. Please note that all our professional equipment is colour calibrated, therefore the images you view on your screens, (which will not be colour calibrated to ours), will not match exactly to your finished product.
  • Printed contact sheet, this is the default option.

I’ve Lost My Contact Sheet – How Can I Get a Replacement?

Just call our office on 01252 728457 and we will email your contact sheet to you, or pop it in the post.

 

Ordering

How Can I Place My Order?

For orders placed before the order cut off date:

  • There will be a collection box or envelope at your nursery for orders.
  • Call us on 01252 728457

I've Missed My Deadline, How Do I Order?

For Late Orders

  • Order form - complete your order form, include the late order charge, and post with your payment direct to Imago Portrait Studios, Unit 9 The Enterprise Centre, Coxbridge Business Park, Farnham, Surrey GU10 5EH or
  • Telephone our orders team with your image and product code on 01252 728457     

How Long Do I Have to Place My Order?

Normally 2 weeks after we have delivered your contact sheets to your nursery/school, but this may vary at Christmas as we endeavour to fulfil all orders before Christmas.  The date by which you need to have placed your order is on the top of your order form.  Please note any unpaid orders will be deemed as late orders and charges will apply.

All late orders will be liable for the late order charges: £2.95 prints & CD’s, £9.95 for frames, canvases, art blocks & enlarged prints.

Can I Order Class/Group Shots Digitally?

No, unfortunately these are available as prints only. You cannot purchase them digitally.

  

Retouching and Image Changes

Can I Make Changes To My Chosen Images?

Yes, if you require any changes to your images the following charges are applicable:

 

£1.50 to change your image to black & white or colour

£1.50 to crop your image, (to a size less than your purchased size)

£3.50 per image for cleaning of noses/food/bruises etc (within reason).

£20 per hour for more complex work, please call us with your request 01252 728457

 

Although we do ask the nursery/school to clean children’s noses and faces before the shoot, due to the amount of time it takes to retouch these areas we do charge these nominal fees for doing so. Please note any such requests on your order form.

If you are purchasing a frame or canvas, cleaning is included in the price but please specify any particular requirements on your the order form.

 

Payment

How Can I Pay?

  • Customers can either pay by cheque or a debit/credit card, (we do not accept American Express or Electron).
  • Please make cheques payable to Imago Portrait Studios Ltd.
  • Please note we do not accept cash.

 

Order Queries

 I Am Missing Part of My Order or My Order is Incorrect or Unsatisfactory

Missing or incorrect orders are extremely rare for us – please do call us on 01252 728457.

If you are not satisfied with your product please call the office directly and we will do our best to resolve the situation.  Any re-prints or retouching work will be at our discretion and a charge may apply.

Unfortunately due to the nature of the product, digital images, whether ordered as download or CD, are non-refundable.

 

 Deliveries

 When And Where Will My Order Be Delivered?

  • To your nursery within approximately 3 weeks after the cut off date (if placed, paid for and approved, (if applicable), by the order cut off date).This may vary due to holidays etc.
  • Late orders will be delivered approximately 2 – 3 weeks after we have received full payment.

  • If you require delivery to your home for any specific reason, please call the office. A delivery fee of £2.95 (for prints & CD’s) or £9.95 (frames, canvases, enlarged prints) will be applied.  Please call us for deliveries outside of the UK.

    Orders will not be delivered until payment has been received in full.

Can I Collect My Order?

Yes, from our head office in Farnham, please call the office to arrange this. Please note this does not necessarily mean your order will be ready more quickly.

How Do I Receive My Download Order?

If you place and pay for your order by 10am we will send you an email with a link from which you can download your images the same working day.  During busy periods this may take up to five working days. Please check your Junk Mail box for your email.

We offer two shapes, panoramic (long & thin)                                    and rectangular

Standard rectangle: 7x5.6

Large panoramic: 12x4.5

Larger size prints are re-art-worked from the original image and are not just enlargements.

Combination Frames  

Sizes will depend on the number of images, image shapes and frame you are ordering, the following are guidelines only, as much of this work is bespoke:

Small  3 images 17x7 with 3(4.25x4.25) images or 5 images 16x16 with 3 (4x4) and 2 (13x4)

Medium 3 images 28x16 with 3(6.5x6.5) or 5 images 22x22  with 3 (7.5x7.5) and 2 (18x7.5)

        Small   3 images 17x9.5 with 12x4.5 aperture and 3 (3x3) images

                   5 images 22x22  with 14x14 aperture and 3 (3.75) and 2 (13x3.75)

Private Shoots

We offer special rates to our nursery customers for a private shoot at your home using a portable studio and your natural background, both inside and outside (weather permitting). Click here for further information.
