Private Shoot

Overview

The photo session would take place at your home, or at a location of your choice, using both a portable studio and natural light. This gives you two types of images from one setting, studio style and natural light shots.  The session will be relaxed and fun, and the photographer will not finish until we have captured the results you are after.

Differences to a nursery/school shoot

During a nursery/school shoot we spend approximately 3 – 5 minutes with your child and produce either studio style shots or natural light shots, with a limited range of styles and finishes. At our private shoots we normally spend an hour and a half, which gives us more time to get to know you & your children and therefore your children are more relaxed. As a result we generally get images that better reflect your children’s personality.  Your immediate family, pets as well, can be included in the shoot. We recommend no more than 8 people at a shoot, although we can accommodate more if you wish.

Viewing and Finishes

You will have approximately 40 – 70 images to choose to from. Our private shoots offer a wider range of finishes than our nursery/school shoots, which we can bring with us. We can also offer advice on what would best suit your home.

Booking fee

A booking fee must be paid in advance. We won't be able to confirm your session until the booking fee has been paid in full.
